SPU holds briefings and preparatory classes throughout the year. In addition to students in their junior and senior years, freshmen also go to briefings and become more conscious towards working. Distinctive contents by department and division are featured for students to take classes according to their desired career paths.
1. Introductory Guidance Session on Job-Hunting
This guidance session is held for juniors starting their job-hunting. They listen to stories from alumni to get a better grasp of what job hunting is like.
2. Exchanges with Alumni
SPU alumni are invited as advisors for job seeking to share their experiences with current students.
3. In-house Recruiting Sessions
SPU receives more than 4,000 job offerings every year, and holds hospital recruitment sessions and other opportunities to effectively match students and employers.

SPU offers specialized classes for students who wish to be aspiring teachers and government workers. Various support is provided to students, including mock examinations, recruitment fairs and preparatory classes taught by faculty.

Together with private interview classes, SPU runs group discussion and group interview practice sessions that are essential for civil service examinations.
